Team Praescient will play a critical role at Palantir’s upcoming GovCon, the company’s premier showcase convention, on Tuesday. Our analysts will be featured in both main stage presentations and breakout sessions (pdf). On the main stage, our consultants will present a session on “Collaborative and Real-Time Intelligence Investigations at the US Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)” where they will discuss case work between ICE analysts and agents using Palantir. In addition, Praescient is working with three of our Initiatives Group partners to present live demos during separate breakout sessions. The first session features our partners at the Institute for the Study of War and demonstrates the use of Palantir in analyzing the Syrian uprising. The second involves a collaborative effort between one of our senior analysts and the American Enterprise Institute’s Critical Threats Project and will discuss open source network analysis of Al Shabaab’s leadership connections to Al Qaeda. The final breakout session will feature our partners at the Institute for the Study of Violent Groups and involve a network analysis of Mexican drug cartels.
Praescient will also expose new users to the Palantir platform by running two separate training sessions throughout the day, one with a law enforcement workflow and the other with a threat finance/counter-terrorism scenario. In addition, Praescient consultants will be staffing various demo booths throughout the conference and showing two of our latest recorded demos on Syria and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The Company is looking forward to working with our partners from both the tech and think tank worlds to make the day an engaging and informative one. We welcome your participation as we spend GovCon 8 learning more about how technology and substantive expertise can come together to create innovative products and solve the world’s toughest problems.
