Praescient was founded by a group of former military officers, software engineers, and entrepreneurs with a common passion for analysis. Last week,Tech Bisnow, a key source of daily news and event coverage in and around the DC-metro area, highlighted Team Praescient’s Executive Leadership and Company Mission in an article entitled, “Out of the Army, Into a Start-up.” As Praescient’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Katie Crotty, explained, the Company’s entrepreneurial atmosphere is essential to maintaining outstanding talent. “To help achieve that, we’re on a relentless pursuit of creating a highly relevant, fun, and passionate culture” that seeks to make a difference.

Katie and her counterpart, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Yvonne Soto, bring their unique perspectives while leading a rapidly growing company of exceptional talent, and continue to engage with local, regional, and national leaders – for example at the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerceevent, “Starting, Growing & Succeeding as a Woman Entrepreneur” – to gain insight into the challenges experienced throughout the business cycle. As Katie always says, “We believe that our diversity is what makes us great, and that our commitment to the mission is what makes us greater.”
