On this day, December 7, 1941, two waves of Japanese planes bombed the United States of America; 183 planes hit Ford Island and 170 planes hit the naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i. This great nation suffered the loss of a total of 2,350 people. Also, a total of 9 ships were sunk, and 21 were damaged. We are reminded of the sacrifice 2,282 military persons and 68 civilians made that day, and the steadfast commitment each held to the Constitution, culture, and promise of America.
Praescient Analytics, as a veteran-owned business, is especially mindful of the sacrifice required of our servicemen and women. They work everyday to help the United States lead the world and make it a better place, not only for Americans, but also for people around the globe. At Praescient, we are proud to support that effort in numerous ways and we will continue to help by providing innovative analytical and technological solutions to those who put themselves in harm’s way for our country. Pearl Harbor, and the World War it helped spark, are a reminder about the importance of American global leadership. Praescient is honored to contribute to that effort.
